I'm an avid armor builder as of the last five years. but I'm a painter too, Here's a couple quick sketch paintings of two of my favorite vehicles. thefirst one is a T-34/85 on the move And this is an early RSO German tractorWhat I was just wondering; Does any one else apply their military knowledge in other hobbies? Just wonderin'....Drew

Gday Drew
Where do you find the time to paint as well as build?!?!
When you say "Does any one else apply their military knowledge in other hobbies?" do you mean military 'modelling' knowledge?
Funny but to me it kind of works the other way around... (Maybe it can go both ways :-) )
I find that the more basic art skills I learnt growing up have developed through time, and these I can apply to modelling...
Everything from complimenting paint colours, to diorama layout sketches...
Hey, are you working off photos? What medium do you like to paint with?
(Don't say Allison Dubois)

I don't but I know some others do. I remember that one member paints trucks or buses.
