Hello

I wonder if anyone has had any experiance with Quarter Master's depot ?

I placed an order with them on 16 nov and added the airmail option and as it's only just 2 weeks ago it is possible that the order is still on it's way.
My concern is that i have contacted them twice in the last week and have had no reply, which is a bit worrying

Thanks

I ordered their Canadian Centurion book on July 16th and never received it. They do not respond their "contact us" form on the website.

Apparently they has some kind of major computer crash a few months back.

There are a few postings about it on Missing Lynx in the General forum.

Hi

Thanks for your replies. Looks like I won't be getting my order if you are still waiting since July.

It's a shame that their computer crash didn't stop them taking $C 43.00
from my account.

oh well, thanks again

If you have some type of internet or e-mail receipt you should still be able to get your order from them even if they lost their records.

Contact Dana Nield about your order either through his site or e-mail. He should be able to let anyone know the status of your orders. There should be no need to lose your money.

You should try posting a message on Missing Lynx in the General forum to Dana.

He has responded within the last month to other folks asking about their orders.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the further info. I've applied for membership of missing lynx, but have been denied for reasons unknown. I wonder if you could pass on a message to Dana for me. It would be most appreciated.

Ive read the posts on missing link and it would appear that Dana is under the impression that most outstanding orders have been covered now.

He is the prez of IPMS Ottawa, so you might want to try checking out their site:
http://www.ipmsottawa.ca

Although the site is not overly active, you may be able to find a current email, or at least post a message on their boards that a member could pass along to him. I wish I could help more, but unfortunately, I am not a member.

Jamie

You could also try his own site:

I posted a message on Missing Links trying to search him out. That's about all I can do.

Dana is currently on vacation, and will be out of town for a while. I won't see him until the new year, but I will drop him a line via email and let him know to contact you.

Cheers,

Kevin

Just got off the phone with Dana, and he is back from vacation, and going through numerous emails in his Inbox. Only a matter of time now I imagine.
