To the gentlemen that were telling me about militaryhobbies.com:
My question must have gotten buried in the other post. Has anyone had any experience with joining their club for $50? Is it worth it? Do you have to join to get the free shipping with a $50 or higher purchase?
Thanks,

I'm not sure about becoming a member, but you don't have to be a member to get the free shipping on a order over 50$. I have ordered twice in the last 3 months with the free shipping and recieved my orders within 1 to 3 weeks(not counting items on back order!). You can pay extra to get quicker shipping if you want.

Exactly. I haven't joined the club either, but have placed several orders, and have received free shipping on them if they totaled more than $50. I can also say, I have received the best service from Military Hobbies that one can ask for. This is one magnificent on-line store.

I attempted to join about 9 months ago and nothing has come of it...
You have to buy a fair number of products to get your moneys worth but nonetheless, it is a good deal if you buy that much.

You know, I thought about joining at one point but when I went to check out i found they taxed the membership. Now I know being Canadian means I should be used to taxation but on a membership?!?
Bleh...

Is it worth $50? Do your math. How much are you going to use it? I've dealt with them for the last two years and have to say the service is exceptional. I certainly plan to deal with them in the future.JOCK
