Me too. Although I don't have a complete motor pool to crawl around at anytime, small arms/machineguns, personal equipment is all at hand. I guess I could sneak in to CSMS Motor pool and get some more referrence for the M901 I want to start soon....I love my "go anywhere free" pass. Who is going to stop a guy in a Range Control vehicle?

Same as Rob, but for Canadian vehicles. I also have access to all the medical stuff that I can use.

My wife is a dental hygenist and gave me a bunch of her old cleaning tools (curets, I think they are called). They're really strong and sharp too.

I bet if someone asked their hygenist or dentist if they could have an old one, they'd set one aside. If someone really needed one, they could send me a message and I could see if I can score another one.

They are great for modelling or scraping down putty. They are pretty sharp, so be careful. And don't think of trying to clean your own teeth with them...

As for my work, I work for a video game company, so it's more of a distraction than a help to my model building.

Best free modeling tools from work.. Lets see working in an hospital I have access to all the srynges and needles needed for measuring making holes and such. Other things that have probably saved me boocoo bucks is the endless and numerous types of forceps, tweezers, scalpals, long cotton swabs ( the ones made out of wood), tongue depressers, medacine cups, and various sizes of silk suture threads for wires and such. That is about it off the top of my head but I always got my eyes open for things that I can always use.

Another one fron the dentist are some transparent sanding bands from 3M that they use to file dental prosthesis. I find them idela to file away the seams on gun barrels or other non flat surfaces...
