Usually during easter weekend (mid april if im correct). Usually held at tamiya headquarters, forget the city, but I know its near Laguna Beach, CA. Go every year and meet friends. To enter, just bring a kit produced by Tamiya, any kit by tamiya, register it at the front desk and WHA-LA !! Your in, then you shop, eat,,shop,,watch the R/C tanks blow each other up, look at displays of 1/1 scale military vehicles, shop some more, eat, shop, talk to friends, look at other entries, shop, go home and come back next day, meet friends, eat, shop, same as previous day, wait for judging to end, during which time you will shop, go to raffle, come back shop, talk, eat, shop, p/u your kit/award if any go home. And count the days till the next tamiya-con, so, while you count the days, you will,,,,,,,shop.

City is Aliso Viejo and I don't believe they plan on moving it to anywhere but there. Sort of a permanant venue

Will you be making the treck to California next April?
There should be more information on the TamiyaUSA site.
Each entrant is allowed 5 entries so you can spread them out over five catagories or flood one group with your stuff! Hope to meet you there and good luck
Cheers,
Charles

they will probably post something on their site after the holidays. Normally, they post the advert and list catagories and have printable entry forms.
Keep watching the TamiyaUSA site.

Charles
