Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone produces any 1/35 scale aircraft, probably allied aircraft during WWII? Ive seen 1/32, and 1/48, but cant seem to find any at 1/35. Otherwise, would there be a noticeable difference between 1/35 figures and 1/32 aircraft? Do they make many figures and accessories in 1/32 scale?

Thanks for the info

Hi

I am not an expert on this but 1/35 scale tends to be an armour scale so you don't see a lot of aircraft. The only subjects that I can personally think of are helicopters.

1/32 is an "aircraft" scale and there are accessories and figures for this scale.

You could check out Signifier and Fine Molds to start with. Below is a link to a campaign that I am working on, See Jean-Luc's oil cart and pilot in1/32. Duel Thread

Hope this help

Cheers

The closest you're going to get is 1/32 scale aircraft. Depending on how you compose the pairing you can get away with it. If you put the figures far enough away or in a position where it's hard to guage scale (not in the cockpit).

Sorry, but so far only 1/35 scale helicopters are available. Unfortunately no fixed wing aircraft, and we probably won't see any.

Hi Chaps,
Don't forget about the latest Piper L4 in 1:35 from Bronco. It may lack some detail, but which model doesn't

Hi all!

I know of at least two 1/35 scale aircraft model kits (other than helicopters):
- POMK's Bf 109 G-6
- Great North Roads' Horsa Glider

The first one is probably very difficult to find and the second one... very expensive! I'm afraid there is not much choice for 1/35 scale WWII aeroplane models.

I've got a 1/35 George kit by Tomy. There are a few 1/35 scale WW2 planes around. This site has reviews of large scale aircraft: http://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/kitsww2.html

I'm afraid you're a victim of circumstance; 1/32nd scale is Gauge 1, in railway modelling, and 1/35th came about because Tamiya, when they started military modelling, wanted to motorise their tanks. The smallest, workable, scale, into which they could fit the motor, was 1/35th.
