Does anyone have reference photos of the back side of Fat Man? I am almost done building a 1/35th scale WMD but I need to know what the back looked like. I'll post pics of what I have so far tomorrow.

I remember years ago looking at a aircraft/history book with separate pictures of them loading Fat Boy and Little Boy on to the respective aircraft. I can't remember the name of the book, but I remember thinking to myself "that was a simple design". I think the end was just rounded off and the fins just connected to the contour of the overall bomb.

Sorry this is sketchy, but I have a vivid memory of it. My Dad was a POW on Corregador at the time of the dropping of both Fat Boy and Little Boy, that was why the picture stuck to me...

I may have some photos from a trip to the Smithsonian.... Not sure if they're Little Boy or Fat man though.... i'll dig them out today & scan 'em.
