Whats the detail level like Pat? The sprue image shows the front and back torso, and both look very plain. Are all smaller details fixed to this?

Frank there's a review of the kit on cybermodeller with pics of all the sprues although their example is in black plastic.

The kit shows the limitations of moulding in the 80's. each limb and the head comes in two parts- front and back, seperate ears for the head. Upper torso comes in three main parts- two for the front of the tunic and one for the back, a three piece collar and each pocket in two parts. The level of detail on the Kar 98 is good but the other small details are not quite up to the standard of Dragon or Tamiya in 1/16. In this scale however I imagine it wouldn't take too much work to upgrade them
