I figure he's ran out of money and needed an infusion of cash. When the money from this book is gone he'll probably come out with the follow up, "Ok, I did it, what are you going to do about it."

Blame OJ certainly but blame the legal system even more for 'allowing' him to get away with it. Makes me want to go live in a cave somewhere....

I couldn't agree more. Just what kind of clown even commissions a book like this? Good to see that the economic imperative can work both ways - when NewsCorp got jumpy they pulled it...

Book was already up in the mid twenties on Amazon. I saw the guy on TV waving at the cameras and my stomach did a slow roll.
Looks like free markets won in the end. Fox was going to lose more than they were going to gain so they pulled it.

If Murdoch releases a statement saying the project was "ill conceived" you can bet a couple of producers, at least, are polishing their resumes this morning...
