Chaps, before i commence my first attempts at spraying alclad paints, what would you recommend for cleaning the airbrush with afterwards, there is no need to thin i'm lead to believe so am unsure as to the best cleaning agent.

you can just use normal lacquer thinners from a hardware shop. It won't react with the body of the Aztek. After every paiting session (even with acrylics) I'll give the body and bottles a wipe down with the lacquer thinners

The other name for what you require in the UK and is available in model shops is Cellulose thinner. My local shop sells one packaged by Perkins. That is what I use when cleaning up after Alclad and even enamels. Just remember lots of ventilation.

Oh yes, that cellulose thinners is GOOD stuff - I would not recomend using it in the house!

Correct, there is no need to thin. One point though, Alclad settles quite quickly so you may well need to remove the airbrush jar, fit a 'normal' lid and give it a good shaking again - particularly if you are leaving it for a few minutes between coats. I actually drop an old alclad 'ball' in the airbrush jar to help swill it around.
