I went ahead and watched the otehr clips and its amazing for a civilian like me to see the cooperation between hemselves, and even with the Afgan troops.

Makes you remember why its important to support our troops.

Thanks for the video link, Jeff- finally another example of MEXAS armour on our Leos! Perhaps when MLM opens, we'll see a few examples grace Armorama's pages? (Not me, though, I'm still working on kits from campaigns two years ago)

I am eagerly waiting for them to reopen. I have been stockpiling some Italeri 1a4 and Revell 1a5 kits to do some Canadian stuff. Trying to clear the deck of current projects so I can start on a Leo when they reopen.

I have built a Leopard C1 with MEXAS as the version deployed to Kosovo in 1999/2000.

Keep and eye out for my build article in a future issue of AFV Modeller Magazine.

Be patient for the Leopard C2 MEXAS at MLM...all good things come with time.

FYI...The hull MEXAS on the Leopard C2s in Afghanistan is the same type that was used on the Leopard C1s in Kosovo.

You know, it never occurred to me that we didn't have C2s in Kosovo. I wasn't there and haven't seen many pics of armour from the tour. Good point.
