Time has flown once again and it's almost time for me to board a plane for the UK and Scale Model World! For those who don't know this is the annual IPMS Nationals held in Telford, England every year. It's interesting that they don't move it around like we do here in the US, but I guess that is the advantage of a central location in a much smaller land-mass. :-)

Anyways I am thrilled to be going. I'm a "euro-virgin" (but not flying Virgin Airlines... British Airlines) so this will be my first trip over the pond. My first trip out of the hemisphere actually.

So who else is going? We should have a pretty big turnout of members with our IPMS UK branch, "The British Bulldogs" present and having their own space at the show. Make sure to come by and say hello. We can thank Mal Mayfield (Holdfast) and his team for helping expose the world to Armroama, AeroScale, and the KitMaker community in general.

luckly inough i'll be in London between the 14th to the 24th of november, and my girlfriend, my partner for the trip, told me she wants to go (lucky me!!)
anyway, can somebody please help me understand what train do i need to take, and where from, in order to get from london to Telford?

by the way, can members of the Israely IPMS enter free or only ipms UK?

You can get the 6:01 from London Euston to Birmingham New Street, then change for the 8:33 from Birmingham New Street to Telford.

I don't know how close the Station is to the Centre - i've never been before.

There is a train station at Euston Way I think - Telford Train Station? Which is directly north of the centre. Looks to be less than 1km away.

At long last the flight goes out tomorrow! Been waiting for this like a kid waits for Christmas.
