I've decided to go all out with the Hardwood Bases, Pedestals and Shadow Boxes after having incredible show and online sales recently.
I will not have only standard size bases available but will also offer custom sizes and shapes.
The following woods, Cherry, Maple, Walnut, and Oak are currently available with a variety of either natural finishes, paint or stain, or unfinished. All the products are both kiln and air dried for maximum prevention of warping and/or cracks.
Shadow Boxes will be sent in a kit form which will screw together easily. Shadow boxes are made to order due to varying needs of the modeler. You must supply the electrical work. I'm no electrician! Trust me on this.
Prices are availble upon request.
Retailers are welcome with special discounts.
Orders will be done as quickly as possible as my work schedule allows. My Brother is an accomplished wood worker will be assisting through the winter season as well to speed up delivery times.
Currently we have no means of offering round pedestals for modelers but we hope to have that changed shortly.
Please contact me at [email protected]
or by telephone @ 705-424-1417.
Payments can be Personal Cheque, PayPal, and International Moneyorder.
Thanks to all.

Could you post some pictures of samples? Approximate prices would be helpful, too.

For basic bases you can figure out pricing by the following method.
For any base .5" to 1" thick Length X WidthX.45cents
So a base 24"X24" would cost $25.92 U.S.
For a base 1.1" to 1.5" the cost is .55cents per square inch.
So a base 24"X24" would cost $31.68 U.S.
Lowest order allowed is $12.00 just because of the work neccessary in a small base. So a 3"X3" base would cost $12.00 where as each base after that you would use the above method.
The above prices are for bases 24" X 24" Maximum. After this size prices increase due to labour of joining wood.
All other bases i.e. pedestals, frames and boxes are price on request due to dimensions.
