Dave shares more of his wealth of knowledge. This time in regard to cleaning airbrushes. I think there is something in here even for someone who has a lot of experience in airbrushing. It never hurts to get another perspective.

Dave, photo 5 shows you shooting the water from the airbrush into some sort of container... what is it? did you make it yourself?

Rudi, it's actually Lacquer Thinner, I believe over your side they call it Cellulose Thinner.
After using many items, mostly home made to try to keep the fumes down, I discovered this on LuckyModels. Works great, vents under water, and has a small filter on top, and sure helps keep the lacquer thinner fumes down to an acceptable level.

It's called MR. AIRBRUSH CLEANING BOTTLE, cost me a whopping $19.20 including the shipping, and worth every cent.

Dave, to tell ya the truth... mostly in bed, in pain. My motivation is at an all time low. I'm even thinking about giving my stuff away just to get it done faster. Its a shame, there's a lot of money sitting here and I know I'll never get to it. Unless someone comes up with a miracle cure for back pain. My good days are getting farther and farther between.

You're going to have to excuse my ignorance, but where exactly is this feature? Can someone provide a link? It would be much appreciated.

Nice write-up Dave on a very important subject. Thought never occurred to me about siphon feed ABs vs. gravity feed ABs in terms of required air pressure to function...now I have to do some experimentation as mine is "dual feed'.
