I have been going round in f#*x%9+# circles and am not getting anywhere. What am I doing wrong? I went to 'My Account', clicked on 'Gallery Pics', and got in. Clicked on an image I wanna delete, an was asked to log in (fair enough). Clicked on 'Log in', but instead of asking me for a password it sends me through to the kitmaker network where I'm shown as logged in ('Welcome Spooky6, etc'). I click on My Account again but it's the same old thing again. It asks me to log in. What the heck do I do now?

I just tested it. There's a gremlin in the system right now. You may want to try later. I was able to get in yesterday to delete a few old pics with no problems.

Hi David,

I had the same curious "issue" this morning. I found that by logging out of the kitmaker domain, and then re-loggin in via the photos/kitmaker portal all was ok.

Rudi, I have to ditch cookies every time I go onto Kitmaker. Annoying.

Switching between sites, logging out and back in with both sites doesn't seem to cause this problem for me.

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Thanks,
Jim

Everything's A-OK on my end, Captain. . .I log in at the KitMaker home page, with no problems switching from site to site, and KitMaker Photo's is just peachy as well.

Funny enough when I deleted my cookies and temporary internet files and the like and relogged in the stuff worked as well as it used to be

I have my internet settings set to automaticaly clear all cookies and history, temporary files etc when I log of the internet (at least once a day).
This prevents a lot of probs.

Cheers

Robert,
That 4x4 animated GIF banner is amazing at only 26kb! Nice job.

I have the same problem. Getting chased from one login to an other.

Trying new upload in my gallery: Please Login (i was looged in, my name was there)
Deleted cookies, Logged in, ok, ready to upload, did that.
Back to Armorama , tried to edit my last post, but , oh, i forgot, just deleted cookies, so login again here.
Back to my Gallery to get a new picture to ad to my post, clicked to have a bigger view........you are not logged in ! Aargh.

Cheers
Claude

Okay I was able to replicate this. The session data that the gallery requires is overwritten (removed essentially) by logging into any non-kitmaker.net domain. Then when you try to re-login to the gallery you are already logged in via a cookie so my new login form is not displaying as it use to.

Easy enough to fix later tonight.

For now if people would just try this simple lil trick.

1. Delete your cookies....
2. Delete your armorama.com, hfmodeling.com, armorama.net, modelgeek.com, modelshipwrights.com, and aeroscale.co.uk (and aircraft.armorama.com and figures.armorama.com and dioramas.armorama.com...okay I think you get it now..hehe). Delete all them and add or keep one....

www.KITMAKER.NET

3. Login there and you will never have this problem again. Nor any other domain confusion (well except when clicking on an occasional "hard" link in the forum or elsewhere).

4. You can add back bookmarks for the various sites... just add the armorama.kimatker.net, aeroscale.kitmaker.net, etc. domains.

Cheers,
Jim
