hi folks!

just bought revell’s Mi-24 Hind-D. i’m planning to model a soviet hind. the box art shows it with what looks like a tan base color with patches of a darker camo. the colors in the kit manual are no use to me since i only have access to tamoiya and gunze paints. i tried posting these questions on the aeroscale forum but i guess no one overthere knows the answers. does anyone know what colors I should use in the tamiya or gunze range? or does anyone know where can find a conversion chart for revell to tamiya/gunze?

Comrade, try this site. Usually wala talagang exact match ang Tamiya colors sa ibang colors. Try mixing the paint instead.

thanks bro! it does seem like i'll have to improvise with the colors. i've already got a few ides. i'll try them out on spare model parts first of course.

Also, paints do fade in the sun. You can safely say that your paint was "bleached off" by the sun :-) :-) :-)

yep. yan din iniisip ko. lately i've been less OC about getting the correct mix after seeing the wide disparities between colors of what were supposed to be uniform paint jobs.
