Hi everyone. Was wondering if anyone had built their own airbrush holder and has photos of it. The store bought ones are fine, but a bit pricey at 30 bucks. Thanks, cheers.

Sterling,
Micromart.com has just added a 4 station airbrush holder to their catalog. The cost is $16.35, Here is the link:

Sure have - it's called a dime store coat hanger cut and bent to shape. No photos as of now, but it is simply a wire coat hanger cut to about 12" long. Its bent into basically 2 U shapes.
One U at the very end, then a 3 - 4 inch separator that runs the length of the AB, then another U shape to hold the back end. Then the remaining length can be attached via clamp or a hole in the top of a desk, or as I have done - bend it again to form a base and tape/weight it to a desk.
I'll try to take photos later and post it - but you don't need to spend a ton of money.

Mine's made out of some of my daughters Lego blocks that I pinched.
It works perfectly and I see no reason to replace it.
Cheers

Hi Guys
Mine's an old CB radio mike holder I "found" in my old lorry at work,
FOC of course, but I doubt these are expensive to buy
I just screwed it to my bench and bent the prongs with a pair of pliers..

Works a treat

I have a peg board wall right next to where I airbrush. I have one of those peg board brackets with 2 fingers that stick out about 2 inches. It holds the airbrush just fine for me.

For years I played around with home made gadgets, the results were usually either spilling paint, or the airbrush dropping out at the wrong times. I finally busted down spent 16 bucks for a 4 airbrush holder, now my airbrushes are safely secured when not in use and in use.

Mines on the end of my airbrush desk.
Just a piece of coat hanger bent into shape and screwed to the end of the bench using a large washer to hold the loop in place.
Just about as cheap as it gets! :-) :-) :-)
Depending on which airbrush I'm using ...I just bend the arms alittle this way or that to make it fit.
Works great!

I made my airbrush holder of piece of board and syringe. I'll provide a pic later so you could see how it looks.

I made one a while back.. used a 6 inch block of wood from a Mahongany 2x4 .. nice heavy wood block.. drilled 4 holes in it.. bent 2 peices of heavy wire (copper or coat hanger) into 2 u shapes and put in the holes.. worked pretty good..

Hey,
Nice idea for the Airbrush holder & I also like the gravity feed mod. I will try that on my Devilbiss 63.
