I joined up about three years ago but sorta drifted off course. I'm back and really fired up about the hobby. I haven't done much building in a few years but I have a renewed passion that is ready to get busy. My interests are mainly in tanks / afv's , WW2 both Allied and Axis, but I like some of the modern stuff as well.

Where in the Old Dominion state are you?
If you are close to Richmond, answer back and if you are free this Thursday there is an AMPS chapter meeting.
And Richmond IPMS meets next Thursday the 19th

Ron to answer your question I live in Chesapeake down here in the bottom right hand corner next to Va Beach and Norfolk. Only about 1 1/2 hours from you in Richmond.
I would love to come up and attend a meeting but this Thursday isn't good I'll be at work all day and night. I work as a FireFighter / Paramedic here in Chesapeake and have duty this Thursday. Maybe some other time I can come up. Sound like a good time !

Good old Chesapeake, I lived over in Ocean View way back in the days of hair and real teeth, and upholding Navy Traditions. But also did a lot of upholding Navy Traditions over at VA Beach also! :-) :-)

There are 2 IPMS chapters in your area, Check the IPMS USA web page
Also the IPMS Regional show is this weekend at the Va Beach convention center, lots of stuff to see. Check it out......

But if you get there, ask around for Frank Blanton. Frank is an active member of the Richmond IPMS chapter and co-founder of Central Virginia AMPS. I think he will be one of the armor judges and will probably enlist you to judge also.
