Have decided after nearly 10 years to build the beast
---N.L.E.--Naval Land Equipment ---Cultivator #6 ----"NELLIE"---A Diggy-thing
2 types designed to dig approach trenches--a "Small" one for Infantry trenches and a "Large"one for tanks

The beastie is over 70feet long --and digs a trench 5feet deep with earth (spoil)"berms" a further 2 feet high on sides----
Its big ---over 2 feet long

Steve,

I think I have an ancient Mil Mod article on this beast, do you want me to copy it and snail mail it to you? It'll take a couple of days to find and copy, PM me with an adress and I'll see what I can do.

I'd thought about doing this myself but I'm nowhere near good enough.
Cheers

Here are a few pics to up-date the build......

Re-enforcing bars -top and bottom

Access hatch

Engine hatch

Driver /control space access

Centre joint

Lots of rivets

My sponson bracing

There are over 150 hex heads and 450 + rivets (still got a few more to go on ....I hate rivets (and counting them )
Rodger ---there is nothing from a kit that can be used on this one --even the tracks have to be individually made as they are 2 feet wide
So far this is all that I can show for 14 hours work

Wow, as usual I'm impressed
Great craftsmanship.

My only point of criticism is that it's not 1/72

Few pics of progress

That your lot for now ...beats putting on rivets :-) :-)
