I drove that Saturday to the event.It was everything dave said.My M32 got a bronze,which is my first award at the AMPs level.The vendor's room was exellent,but alas for me,it was a case of,"got that,built that..."
Since I support my LHS,I had to forego one of the AFV club M40s which were available.
I also met up with Sticky,and jim Norian.I missed seeing Dave,but if he was "behind the curtains" judging,no need to interrupt him.

I saw a lot of very interesting dioramas. Would be nice to see some of them presented here to see more details.

I must say Dave echos my thoughts..great venue and it can only get better with time.  Shaken not stirred?  I was hit by a truck!  Thats my story and Im stickin to it!  Nice write up Dave.

Very nice write up.  And, yes, I did ask Pvt.Parts and you to judge but we had so many great looking models waiting on the shelf to be judged that we had to help out.  The hall was excellent and vendor room seemed to work pretty well.  There was one small room for seminars but I did not get to check that out.  Long day but I am already looking forward to September 29, 2007 already which is next year's show date.
