October meeting alert: USAAF reenactor to visit the Pittsburgh IPMS club
We've arranged to have a guest speaker come to the October meeting.
His name is Jim Vinski and he is a USAAF reenactor. He will be bringing some of his collection of authentic WWII flight gear including:
Leather helmet, headset, oxygen mask and goggles.
Jacket, boots, flight suit and cap.
Parachute harness, life vest
Reference books and some RAF items.
We're looking forward to hearing from Jim and hope to have a good turn out for his visit.
If you've ever been interested in visiting the club, here's a good excuse to come on out to see us
Check here for more info.
Thanks,
Craig

Hi Michael,
Thanks for posting this notice. I was going to do the same thing but just had not gotten around to it yet
Your pictures of the equipment and uniforms that Jim brought to the meeting look good.
