I sure hope that company isn't bogus. Wnen they get caught (if they are) they'll face Federal charges as it involves Intra-state and the US Postal System

Funny, for a place that doesn't exist, I could swear I saw them at AMPS EAST this past week end.
Here's the AMPS EAST thread, maybe one of the guys that helped run the shindig could hook you up with a current phone number and address.

Hmmmm, sorry to hear that, I've dealt with them before with no problem, although I think a year or so ago was the last time. You are correct, the phone number has been disconnected, I just checked it. But that is the internet site, email, and address that I used. I doubt they have an actual store -- probably just run out of their basement, so would be hard to google for, etc ...
Maybe just a temp glitch, keep trying email.

I've made a terrible mistake! I want to appologize to the folks at Olde Depot hobbies.
They finally contacted me a week late. They were at the AMPS EAST show and apparently during thier trip they were not able to contact me via e-mail. In addition the phone service in their area is out so there was no way to contact them.
I unfortunately assumed the worst having heard of so many internet fraud cases and went off half cocked. They do seem to be nice people with good service.
Again, I appologize to them and to you my fellow modellers for creating a false alarm.
Thanks, Hellbent

I realize the original posters issue has been resolved, and just found this thread, but I have a very positive Olde Depot Hobby story to share.
A couple of years ago, I bought a sealed set of Verlinden's T55 Damaged roadwheels ( a totally worhtless set, but that's another matter.) from them off e-bay. When I got the wheels I found that that they had a serious casting flaw
When I discovered the flaw, I contacted Olde Depot and they were happy to exchange them for another set, but having seen the overall quality, I declined and we arranged to meet at Granitecon.
I handed him back the wheels, he handed me back my $$, no hassles, no problem.
He (I'm sorry but I forget his name) was class act all along the way.
My US$0.02
your miliage may vary.

I've dealt with these guys many times, they are regular vendors throughout the northeast. You really should contact a moderator to have this thread deleted. At least go in and edit the post to reflect the true nature of this business.

I've changed the title and moved it to the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I can delete it but I think if I do then folks who did not see the final outcome may think that we deleted it out of favoritism or something like that.I've dealt with these guys many times, they are regular vendors throughout the northeast. I can delete it in a few days once everyone sees that all was well.

Good idea Robin or maybe just leave it up but change the title to "Olde Depot Hobbies - Vindicated".
