This was sprayed with flat black car primer.
I used two,true color lights..
Photo box has white sides with a light blue backdrop.
A Kodak C643 digi cam,no flash.
Very nice rusty look but it's supposed to be black??????

Is your whaite balance set? Is there some setting that triels to lighten a very dark color?

Are your lights shining directly at the model? Or are they reflected off the sides of your booth?
Also, are you using the auto-focus "point and shoot" type setting? I find when I use those settings the pale grey resin of figures comes out yellowish... I customised the setting and fiddled the aperture (?) and the F-stop (?) settings and I seem to get a more "realistic" picture. After that I rely on my software...

It is a combination of being over exposed by about 1 stop, and the white balance is wrong.

The white balance was wrong and I don't think
I can control the lens setting.
I also don't believe my lighting wattage is high enough
too.
