Hi , I am sorry to say but it is impossible to give a full answer , You need to know the dia of the bolt and what thread it is , to give list of common types in use , Whitworh , BSF , UNF , UNC , Metric Fine , Metric Course . All have different dia bolt heads , this is from an engineering point based on 37 years as an electrician , hope it helps cheers ian

I agree w/Sandy. There is no one answer. It will vary depending on the size of the bolt and nut. I have 4 sizes of hex-rod that I use as needed. They are 0.020", 0.030", 0.040", and 0.060". These sizes will alloy you to make just about any nut you could need.
