Would like to fabricate a canvas cover for the back of an 1/35 german Opel Blitz. Don't like the plastic cover that came with the model. Thought about regular kleenex tissue and toilet paper but they all have a pattern woven into them. Any suggestions as to what material I can use?

Check out "Sticky's SBS making tarps from magic sculp" in the forum section Armor/AFV from Sept. 5th . Looks like a good way to make realistic tarps.

I have used the heavier tissue paper, like the kind that comes with a new shirt. It has worked out alright for me.

I prefer either tissue paper or kleenex coated with diluted white glue. It looks the best to me.
