From today (Friday 8 September) IPMS Dunedin is hosting the 2006 South Island Champs. The Community Gallery, Octagon end of Princes St is open for the public to come and see our display of models. By tomorrow the tables will be groaning under the weight of polystyrene as the out of towners join in.
Judging starts tomorrow at 10 am. Hope to see some Armorama/ Aeroscale etc contributers there.

Time to reflect on the weekend SI Comps show.
Only my thoughts, overall not a good showing, very average in fact. I have yet to see a list of who won what.
Jeff, how about posting some pics. Silly me forgot my camera and by the time Russell arrived all was packed up. Have any been posted on the clubs website yet?
I did like the dude from Gallipoli to 120mm by Andy Cairns the owner and producer of AC Models. This was the standout item for me. I had seen it at the Nationals in Christchurch last year and it has not lost anything in the second viewing. Good Stuff. Then again, I am biased towards 120mm figures.
Like I said my opinion only.

Somewhat snippy Rod, considering that no-one saw you and only briefly saw a couple of other members of your club all weekend. You were invited - that your lot only contributed two very average models is YOUR problem. :-)
