This is Trumpeter 1/72 IS-3M. Picked it up on saturday. Its something nice and quick to do while I am getting myself sorted. It will be finished in Eqyptian markings.
The best bits are that Trumpeter have supplied metal wire for handles instead of moulding them onto the hull. Also they supply 2 version of the tracks. A fully made up set, designed with wargamers in mind I think, and another set you get make yourself with link an length tracks. Wanting to do a quick build I opted for the former which are just as good as the seperate suspension bits.

Ross that sounds like a very nice model, do the grab handles come ready formed? Much better than using plastic

Looks good Ross.
I might try a 1/72 tank one day. What are the Trumpeter kits like.
I remember building Airfix and Matchbox ones as a kid then blowing them up with bangers :-) . That will please Mal :-) .

Mal - Yup the grab handles come ready formed ina little plastic bag. A nice touch I have to admit.
Andy - The new Trumpeter kits are very good. So are the Dragon ones. Dragon's even include etched brass when needed.

Hi Ross,
Looking good so far. Are the tracks and roadwheels one piece, as the tracks look like they are in one piece?

Phil - Yes it is 1/72. A nice little kit actaully.
Mal - I fear that I am not going to make it this year which is a real shame. Hopefully next year.
