If you would like to go to Telford, to Scale Modelworld, but can't get there becaus transport is a problem, then start a thread about it and see if there is anyone else in your neck of the woods who can help. Even if you are OK for transport you can make a saving on parking and fuel by getting together.

For example there are always loads of members from east anglia appearing on the "new" list. Getting from Cornwall is a nightmare without a car, but I bet we have more than one member down there. I know Mahross (Ross) is stuck, as he doesn't drive, but we need his figures on the branch stand. Can anyone help out Ross?

I garuntee, that you want regret meeting up with these "strangers", as you will find that you have so much in common, I promise you.

Get shouting

If Ross can get a train to Westbury, I can take him the rest of the way.
I'll PM him tonight.

Cheers

Hmm, the car turned out to be a partially false alarm. All is fine now, and according to the Fitters at work it sounds like a small part of the clutch push plate has broken off... This is however 'one of those things', and apart from replacing the clutch there's little to be done. Replacing the clutcu on a car that has done 188.000 + miles is a bit silly, so we will run it as it is untill the chassis rots (which is unlikely as it has no rust at all yet) or the driveline gives up. I think I'll squeeze a few more years out of the girl.

Cheers

Guy's I can offer a lift to one person in the North West Kent/South East London area. Only thing is I'am travelling up on Thursday 16th and returning on Monday 20th (small holiday for me).

If this suits you pm me.

Is there anyone going from near Leicester? I live between Notts and Leicester. My cars off the road for the forseeable future so it looks like the train for me. I'll go halves on fuel if someones in this neck of the woods and can give me a lift

Hello all,
I am going up on Saturday. I may be with Bigskip, but will still have space for one or two others.
I live in Sandhurst and could meet up with anyone in the area of Aldershot, Farnborough, Camberley, Baracknell or Reading at a push.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

Planning to leave early o'clock!!
