Ok I want in on the campaign. For my build…I’d like to do a 1/35th Stryker. The only problem I’m having is that I’m in the need of measurements and dimensions. Now from time to time I often see members here post a progress pic that will have some drawing of a vehicle their doing, so I was hoping someone here can help me out with some or even point me in the right direction to some. Thanks and looking forward to seeing some great looking scratch builds.

I'll be building the Cranemobile of the U.S. Navy Seabees (USNCB). 1/24 scale.
I'll have parts and progress pictures as soon as I actually start. I need to take a few more elevation shots of it to make drawings. This is going to be exciting.

Well, I think I finally have enough information to make a start on 'Project Perentie', however most of this year will be spent accumulating materials, since I am a few dollars shy of broke most weeks.

So to make sure I am capable of finishing something, I will be working on a sci-fi troop transport that I have been palnning for a while.
Heres a quick and dirty 3D render I did while trying to design it.

Since we now have an official campaign, we need a ribbon surely?

How about something like this? It's meant show calipers and knife on a background of blood. (couldn't figure out how to show sweat and tears ).

I'd like to try my hand at this, but it will be my very first.. so please be patient with my progress.

Basically, I'll be working on a 2 1/2 ton truck. I'll either build it into a field workshop or "kitchen". If anyone knows where I can get photos of the interior of either of these options, please tell me where.

Another vehicle which one of the members here built before is an "elongated" M113 recovery vehicle type thing. The rear half of it looks like the back of a truck with side panels that open to the side. I'll look for a pic of it. Anyway, I just like anything that has to do with the M113, so I just have to try this.

Will post pics as soon as I have something tangible.

The first item from 'Project Perentie': The Seat! Needs tidying up but the basic size and shape are right.

I enlisted this morning - and decided to get off my duff and do a long-time personal project.

I'm going to do a 1:35th scale M56 Scorpion Self-Propelled Anti-Tank Gun (SPAT).

Hisham- the MTVF Fitter is what you seek, Ti built one, and Canada is developing it. Here's the DEW line drawing: http://www.dewengineering.com/military/variant-mtvf.html Good luck!

I just enlisted and will replicate the Centurion ARV at CFB Edmonton into 1/35. I realize that BARV is building the same, but hey, it's got my cap badge painted on it!

Hisham, no problem- I look forward to seeing your build.
Steve- I'm sorry but I only got that through Googling. Images on www.dnd.ca may have more pictures but the vehicle is only in development right now! I will admit to being a little relieved that I won't be building the same ARV as you... my skills are also just in development!
