It was down for me as well....maybe it was to clean up the mess from the 1 million post party yesterday

It was down from at least 6:45 to 10:30 AM today. I had contacted Jim, he contacted the server folks and sometine between 10:27 and 10:31, it came back up.

I think it came up at 10:29am.

Yes one of our server routines (runs nightly) probably ran amuck. Hopefully will be a rare occourance as I am getting up rather late these days. :-)
