Aw durn burn it. I hit the delete button an sure nuff., It deleted everything I
wrote. So the abbreviated version. Glen Ford, like Randolph Scott, Robt.
Ryan, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Guy Madison, Robert Mitchum, Tyrone
Power, Ray Miland, and so, so many others who had the talent to play so
many different varieties of roles, are now gone. Just last night they had on
TCM, Gunda Din, with Victor McGlaklin (sp), Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and
Cary Grant. . . . and Sam Jaffee as the title role. What a great movie.
Rudyard Kipling's story still holds up quite well here in the 21st century
But their films are still here. Thru watching their movies, we can see
their work and pay tribute to the talent that they had , and more
importantly, displayed on the screen. Glen Ford was one of my favorites,
and I still hear his voice in my head, he was equally well versed in
comedies, or serious western dramas.

But, as all us old folks know, . . . . death is a part of life, so on it goes. . . . .
