The rain was a much needed and welcomed event this time. I don't think that the winds got over 25 MPH here in the Daytona Beach are. But we got a lot of needed rain. I hope that the Carolina's and Va. Fair as well. Although I don't think they need any more rain up there.

Well he suppose to arrive tonight, hopefully I'll be at work before he arrives, I live in the higher elevation area, so hopefully I won't have to traverse any flooded areas on the way home in the morning, if my relief makes it in. The biggest problem for us here is the ground is already saturated from a week of pretty steady rain already.
I hope we don't loose outside power at the hospital, as I really hate to sit there with 3 pounding diesel generators running, they make too much noise, and distract me from building. :-) :-)

Speaking as someone who's wife and son rode out Katrina in Childrens Hospital in New Orleans and had Rita pass right through our town, please heed all warnings from your emergency services. I hope everyone stays safe.

Well, made it through the night with nothing more than rain, and a little wind. I think most of the storm passed east of me more along the coast. Predicting showers on and off for the rest of the day.
