Anybody going to the The Victory Show 2006?
The flyer/leaflet I got says 9-10 September, but their website says 8-10 September, either way if you’re into WW2 model building this one will be worth it.
Whilst at the Festival of History weekend, I saw and spoke to a few of the re-enactors who will be at The Victory Show and these people have plenty of info on the characters they portray.
Some of the vehicles I saw, that will/should be there include:
M16 ( Multiple Gun Motor Carriage) – Actually it’s an M2A1 with the M45 Maxson Quad 50 on the back.
M3A1 White Half-Track
A Plethora of vehicles including; GMC Deuce & a half (I saw two closed cabs), jeeps etc. caught a glimpse of a Dodge 3/4 ton something – maybe a command/staff car.
