FInally found somewhere on this new fangled forum to post this story...

Film director Bruce Beresford (directed the very excellent Breaker Morant) is set to write and direct a movie depicting the Battle of Long Tan - more here

It's about time the ANZACs had another Vietnam movie...

For SKY viewers in Australia and New Zealand, the History Channel has a prety good doco on the battle showing throughout August - good reconstructions, plenty of archive footage and great interviews with the surviving veterans from both sides...

Fantastic.... all i can hope is that he gets it right.
But i reckon he will

The History channel special was just awesome, after viewing it i immediately wrote to History Channel Australia enquiring as to wether it is going to be realeased or if i could possibly obtain a copy, for the Museum.

Gotta admit watching the special that day then on the 18th speaking to some men who were there, it was the last straw, youll be seing a Long Tan diorama from me.
