Hi Pat,
I've only had a read of the introductions and biography and had a look at the layout and content but for me it will be really useful.
It's well laid out, page afer page of colour photos of the techniques he's discribing, products to use etc, simple and uncomplicated is the way I'd describe it.
Not the sort of book to keep on the shelf but to have on the work bench if you have one. Easily referenced, you can dip into what you need.
Worth the money? For me, yes absolutely. I suppose it would depend on how much knowledge you already have accumulated but I would say yes, it will clear up points your unsure off and gives simple techniques to get wonderful results although I imagine practice makes perfect LOL, LOL.
Pics are mainly Axix and Russian (exellent models) with just 1 Sherman and no British Armour that I've spotted yet, but it's about techniques not building kits and in the intro he gives good advice about fixing your goals and thinking about settings etc.
Yip do me very nciely thanks. Not sure if there is a review about it somewhere, never thought about using a blue light to paint by!!!!!!
It will be a well thumbed book I have no doubt.
I'll try a few ideas out on the current Mk V and see what the results are.
Cheers
Al
