Attempting to scratchbuild several german Hedgehog obstacles for a D-Day diorama I'm putting together. My first attempt looks okay but it looks off centered once placed down on the three beam ends. The three beams that form the obstacle are the same length but once put together some beams appear shorter on one side of the structure.
I have two beams evenly centered to form a octahedron and the third beam placed at one of the centered angles to form a tetrahedron. Did the "real" hedgehogs appear this way or did they form a perfect tetrahedron shape? Or could it possibly be that the three beams need to be different lengths?

Hope this can help some

Cheers

P.S. See if you can get a hold of the old Tamiya set of obstacles/barricades... This way you can at least see the construction, (Or use them!)

Italeri has some Hedgehog obstacles. You could use that as reference.

I still got one of them wrong, even though it had instructions on the back of the box.....

IIRC you have to line up the corner of a beam to the centre of the other beam, but perhaps the Italeri box explains this better.
