I have just completed the cockpit of my P-47 painted with all enamel paints. I want to put an oil wash on for some rust and age. The oil paint will be thinned with turpenoid. Do I have to spray my cockpit first before the wash and will the turpenoid mess with my enamels if I don't?
Or will it work fine if I just let my enamels set up for a good day or two?
I appreciate any help and thanks,
Wayne
