There is a model show on Sunday the 13th August at the Aeroventure Museum in Doncaster (Yep were the "Huge kit sale" is see Harri's post
HERE )
It's a nice museum and I will be there with the IPMS Armorama branch stand, so you have 3 very good reasons to go

I'll be there Mal.
Time to dig out the thermos and the sandwich box.
Save me a bit of space please

Will the museum be open as well?
This should shift a fair few of the models in the kit sale,(if theres anything left after yourself and Harri have spent all your pocket money

 )
Hopefully we can get some more armour on the stand this time. I wonder if Vinnie will get the date right this time? :-)
Looking forward to this already!

Hi Kieth, I hope that you are able to make it
 Nige, great see you there.
I've been offered an internet connection, in theory, I just need to find out if it's actually viable and if I need any cables of any kind
Let me know if you require directions, although it ain't to difficult to find, 'onest guv

i've just been on the ipms forums and noticed that a sig i joined is having its first run out at this show. its the classic british kits sig, run by a chap called bruce leyland jones, so i'm doubly gutted about not being able to get up there

so if any of you guys would'nt mind saying hello on my behalf and send on my apologies for missing out on a meet (this also goes to the A- UK mob as well) i'd appreceiate that. i use the same username and have my real name displayed on their forum (its the same as what you see here) i may have dropped myself in it too because this sig will definitely have a table at telford, so i'd better get back to building!

I'm going to the Aeroventure tomorrow (Friday) so I'll clarify the exact date.
It's great to see that there will be a few 'Armoramarites' visiting. It's always nice to be able to meet you guys (and girls-sorry Samantha!) in person!

Hi all
The model show is definitely on Sunday the 13th of August, which, I've just realised is the same day as the Grand Prix Masters race down at Silverstone, which I'm going to, so I won't be able to make it. Doh!

Anything Vinnie, just don't try and fill it up all by yourself, I'd like to get some of Ross's figures and Kieth's Dios on somewhere

Harry, what do you want to go to silverstone for, when there is a model show on your doorstep. You can go to silverstone anytime and "Grand Prix Masters" just sounds like it'll be old farts

racing. You don't wanna do that do ya?

Samantha,
Any models that you can bring will be found a place, the anime figures will be particulary good as we have no one else doing them, but I would love to see your aircraft. So, basically, bring everything
If it's a choice between coming on your motorbike and not bringing any models, then we would prefer you to come without the models. I like motorbikes anyway

Excellent Kieth, I love this Diorama. Anything you can bring will have a space

I think I'll be talking Dioramas alot on the 13th
I will also see if we can get more space, which I don't think will be a problem

If I can twist a few arms (or maybe throw a sicky..) I might just make it after all. I feel a sudden urge to make a 'sentimental journey', seeing as the model show at Doncaster was my first modelshow I attended, the first Armorama 'attended' Modelshow (if I'm correct..

) and a nice day out to boost. If I can make it I'll see if the buyer of my diorama will let me show it there before I send it to him. Or better still, I think he lives en route...
Fingers crossed...
Cheers

Hope to see you there Henk

If everyone turns up this will be a really gathering of the clan

There's a couple of guys from work who may show up as well and Harri, when he realises it's a better venue than old fart racing
