Dear everyone

Can't believe it's two years since my first post Luckily I can't go back and find out whatever it was. I've certainly learnt a lot of things in those two years, but managed not to put most of them into practice

Thanks for having me here

hey David:

You've certainly been an active paticipant with almost 1,700 posts in that
amount of time. I just past my first year on the Big A in April. I wanted to
mention your subject title. Clever. using the title of that very
famous Classic era of sail volume, "Two Years Before the Mast".
I finally got around to reading it some yrs. ago. I remember that the
dust jacket text indicated that book did a lot to improve the
common seaman's life aboard ship, which was something lower
than a "mouse" in that era.

have a good day

You've helped me out on many occasions David; most appreciated! I'm a semi/quasi/pseudo old feller here, but haven't been quite as prevalent at posting as you...
The thread title was well over my head.. My earliest memories of books was Biggles and The Hardy boys... and Whizzer & Chips... Oh, and a 1975 Tamiya catalogue, which is floating around here somewhere... But I digress (A Reader's Digress actually) *groan*
Often wondered what my first post was also...
