In order to help sil in keeping this community stay alive, allow me to post pics of my completed models.
Go easy on me OK,:-) I'm a non-airbrush user and as my nick in SMM suggests, I'm not that good in artistic endeavours!

OK to get the ball rolling, here's my 1/72 F/A-18D Hornet

Aiseh lupa pulak!
It's Hasegawa's 1/72 F/A-18D Hornet. Built OOB and finished in TUDM's no 18 Skuadron markings, decals are from f4dablemodels. The Harpoon comes from Hasegawa's Weapons Set IV. This was done last year I think...
Figures? Not my cuppa la Sil.

Well I did figures when I was a kid...hmmm maybe I'll give it another go!
About the panel lines...I have a weird approach to modeling. I tend to finsh primary assembly, paint, decaling and adding small parts, and then on with the next kit. I only intend to do the weathering, including highlighting the panel lines, after I have exhausted my (current) stash!

Well, here's my next model: 1/72 MiG-29N Fulcrum. Kit is from Italeri with decals a mix of VFA Productions and ScaleNutz set. I used Pavla Models K-36 resin seat (should have got the entire cockpit set from Neomega). The aerial behind the canopy is actually modified from a clothes price tag holder (I lost the original part to the carpet monster). Paint scheme looks a bit weird as I use FS 34227 rather than FS 34226 (or the special paint stocked by Unicorn Hobbies). There is one big goof however...the front landing gear mudguard is upside down!

Here's my 1/72 BAe Hawk Mk108. Kit is from Italeri with decals from VFA Productions. Built OOB as usual with minor modifications. The kit 'smurfs' under the horizontal tailplane is replaced with a scratchbuilt item as the original is too small. However I neglected to thin the replacement 'smurfs' to a more scale-like appearance. The lazy bug must've bitten me that day. One of the ventral fins is made from scrap plastic sheet as I ahve lost the original to the always-lurking carpet monster.
The kit AIM-9L Sidewinders is replaced by AIM-9Js from the Hase Weapons Set. The -9Js are meant to represent -9P Sidewinders currently used by TUDM.

Very good work for hand painting. I myself hardly ever use airbrushing since I work mainly with figs. Its good to know I have a few more non a/b kaki.

Yep...as I haven't done any highlighting and weathering yet...
About the Hawk, I think Airfix and Italeri have the plane in 1/48 scale.

This is my Supermodel 1/72 Aermacchi MB339A. As usual, built OOB with weathering yet to be done. I forgot to putty a gap in the rear bulkhead of the cockpit, argghhhh. The front landing gear is too tall OOB and I cut it down to get a proper sit. Decals are from VFA and partly from the kit. Kit is painted using Tamiya XF60 and XF13 and GSI Gull Gray

Vernon recommended this kit when I was at his shop last year. I guess that the 1/72 Macchi is pretty rare. I have only seen them at Unicorn.

My first armor model - Tamiya's 1/35 King Tiger (Production turret). As usual, done OOB and brush-painted. I also attempted to do rain streaks which turn out to be crap, as usual, as the streaks are too big!

eh hairil.. i thought u only do aircraft ... any more afv models?
looks good man... esp the hard edge camo... niceee....
if i may point out, the tools' clasps should be painted with the hull camo colour (i.e: green if it is on a green area of the camo etc.)
