Does anybody know about a nice Punch & die set that would be pretty cheap

I use the Waldron sets, both regular and sub-miniature, not exactly cheap, but both have lasted me for years with careful usage.

Thanks for the reply but as I said CHEAP cause Im cheap :-) :-) :-) Na just kidding its cause I don't have the money Id even look into buying one seond hand if its in good condition

if you don't want anything complicated, they sell punches at michael's or a.c.moore's or one of those places. you could also check ebay.

Well, for years before I invested in a set, I used the back end of drills, and a drill gauge. Worked well for really thin plastic or lead foil. But does depend on what sizes you are looking for. I have an old leather punch that worked also.

I just noticed you are down under, so I can just imagine what a Waldron sub-miniature set goes for down there.
