Hello all, my name is Gary. I'm dragging 40 and I've been modeling on and off since I was a kid. Since the kids are older now I've got more spare time so I'm on again. :-) I'm interested in the Napoleonic era for the most part but I also build planes and the occassional afv. Right now I'm in the process of cleaning up/finishing several figures from years past. My current project is a 54mm Imrie-Risley mounted hussar.

I discovered this site by accident while looking up something else but I was quite happy to find a comminuty of historical miniatures enthusiasts.

Hi Gary:

Welcome aboard, mate. There are a great deal of neighbors to "my" north
who are members of the Big A, as we like to call Armorama.com.
Recently, because of the over 14,000 number of memebers and all the
site talk that was constantly going on thus putting a real strain on the
'pooter aspect of all this jazz, (at least, ah thinks that was part of it) they
split the various genré, i.e. Aircraft, Armor and Dioramas, Figures, and
Model Geek which is Sci-Fi/Fantasy and a host of other topics. So when
you see the home page, you'll see the various main topic headings at
the top of the page. Historica Forma means figures. Click on it and you'll
find all kinds of super fig modelers, sculptors, painter and a lot of them
are really into the Napoleanic era. A lot has happened since the I-R
metal castings. You'll be amazed. But welcome, and let's see some of
your work!!
