Hi,
This has got to be the best piece of propaganda ever filmed. Leni Riefenstahl did a good job of photography in bringing the 1934 National Socialist Party Rally to light. It is studied by the UCLA film school for its camera use and sheer scope. This is not an endorsement of what was put on celluloid, just a statement that I have seen this movie.

It is amazing work.

I would suggest you find the documentary 'The wonderful, horrible life of Leni Riefenstahl.'

If you haven't already seen this, I'd most strongly suggest you do.

Leni Riefenstahl was the undisputed queen of propaganda. Triumph of the will will go down as one of the finest example of politically driven movie making. You can see students of her style in the movies of Michael Moore.

"What Leni Riefenstahl was to Nazi Germany, Michael Moore is to the Democrat Party."

Hi,
There is no disputing that Frank. Michael Moore is the modern equivalent to Joseph Goebbels. Propaganda with no facts behind the celluloid.

But, as an aside. Leni became a highly respected oceanographer late in life. Diving and doing underwater filming and photography in her 90's.

Also, "Tub-o'-Goo" Moore is being sued by one of the soldiers he filmed in one of his movies.
