I was curious to know what historically important vehicle, aircraft, ship would you like to see as a model or made into a better model?
My 2 cents: I would like to see a good large scale 1:48th or better Enola Gay.
Just FYI, I was stationed for a year in Japan and never could find a hobby shop that had a B-29 kit. Understandable though.

Hi,
Hmmm, the list is endless!!! LOL, LOL. I suppose for me it would be the range of Hobarts Funnies in 1/35 plastic injection along with the Fail , DD and Dozer Shermans. I know resign conversions are available, but the cost is too great.
A nice range of 1/35 British Armoured cars would be great also. More wishful thinking LOL, LOL.
Cheers
Al
Edit: Oh yes and a complete range of British WW2 Trucks and Artillery also!!!

A decent, accurate, plastic British Heavy Tank Mark I from 1916, specially since September is the 90th anniversary of the introduction of the tank.

Armored Cars. . . Did someone say armored car kits?. . . Such as a high
quality armored car kit up to the standards of the latest DML armor kits?
Wall, yeh. . . . fer me, I'd like to see 'em in 1:35th. Not only the British,
but what about any nations armored cars from WWI thru the end of
WWII. We're talking weird and esoteric lookin' . . . which is right
up my alley. RPM, and Alan of Russia? Not easy to build. . . Ug.
Eventually we'll see them in my view, I just hope I live long enough to be
around for 'em. . .

Good ideas guys! I'm with you all the way. I'd love to see some good British armored cars. Plus, Gasp some more 1:35th aircraft that aren't rotary wing! Could you imagine the dio's we could crank out with a B-17, B-29, Lancaster, or He111? ( if you are wondering yes, I know that would make the wingspan close to five feet! but i'm just crazy like that!)

For myself. and my selfish nature, I would really like to see a new series of US Halftracks, done to the same excellence as Dragon has done on their German equiptment.

Me, I'd love to see an accurate injection molded 1/32 scale Spitfire Mark IX and then a proper accurate 1/32 scale Me 109 E7, any manufacturer does that and it'll be a license to print money

Greetings all,
Hmmmm, on the subject of 1/35 aicraft, now a few of those would be pretty cool. There was a rumour going around in the New Year of FM doing a 1/35 Horsa, not that would be very useful. :-) :-) :-) :-)
Cheers
Al - unfortunately I think it was just that - a rumour

Ditto. The 1/35 scale world is crying out for a modern M-3/M-3A1 half-track and derivatives. The ancient Tamiya stuff always manages to sell well even though the M-3A2 represents a vehicle that never even entered service!
A modern-tool British 6-pounder/U.S 57mm anti-tank gun (with aluminum barrel and PE gun shield of course) with crew figures would be groovy. So would a 40mm Bofors AA gun. Actually, a US Marines 75mm pack howitzer would be kind of cool too.
Italeri needs to bring back the M-7 Priest kit too.

How about:
E-1 tracer
E-2 Hawkeye
A-6 Intruder
and
EA-6 Prowler
all in 1/48
And some of the USN WWII carriers after they got their angled deck modification, AND USS Coral Sea, USS Midway and USS F. D. Roosevelt in 1/350?

Well, I'd like to see in injected plastic:
A new tool 1/48th Lancaster (heck, I'd be happy if Tamiya would just reissue their BI/BIII)
1/48th Short Stirling
New tool 1/48th B-17, B-24, B-26
1/48th C-46
1/48th scale Allied Gliders (Horsa, Hamilcar, Waco)
1/48th Jeep, 2.5 ton truck, US halftracks etc....
1/48th Allied para figures to go along with the gliders in dioramas
New 1/48th Do-17Z
New 1/35th US halftracks - there, I said it
1/35 Allied softskins - Mack NO, Studebaker, Bedford, Scammell etc...
1/35th British WWII armored cars
1/35th M3 Grant
I'm sure there are others, but that's enough to dream about for now.

Hi,
Important kits I would like to see:
-15cm sFH18 in plastic
-Sdkfz 6 5 ton and Sdkfz 8 12 ton halftracks in plastic
-German Bridging equipment in plastic
-a Sd Anh 115 trailer for light panzers in plastic, would go good with Luchs, Hanomags or light armoured cars
-3cm Flak 103 or 108 in plastic
-8.8cm Pak 43 on the cruciform base, in plastic
This stuff would look great to me.
Chris- modeller stuck in neutral for about a week!

With AFV club producing the 155mm "Long Tom" and 210mm howitzers,
I'd like to see a good injection molded kit of the US WWII M4, M5, or M6 high speed tractors used to tow these pieces.
Also:
15cm sFH 18 / Plastic (Verlinden's is too expensive)
17cm Kanone 18 in Morserlafette
British WW I Dreadnoughts (1/350 scale)

To quote Stimpy the Cat, "Oh Joy!" The 3cm Jaboschreck I had on my list is coming in plastic from Dragon.
"Happy, happy, joy, joy!"

I'd love to see the Soviet ground-effect 'aircraft' Orlenok, done in 1:72. ( A "multimission transport, accommodates small vehicles, swing-open nose to facilitate cargo loading, a gun turret mounted atop of the fuselage")
Haven't been able to see if they have ever been done by anyone!
