That's a nice setup. I have often wanted to get into this type of thing but I think the only groups in my area are just into paintball.

nice gear. I paintball but fin the extra gear a hassle to carry around when being shot at, so the vest usualy stays home... and since i dont have pods i shoot less.

Max,
You have a team? Do you play at night? I may have some guys that may want a challenge. We don't have any air soft gun (yet) but we could up load pretty quick at Dunham's. We are really good at hiding...

You working any where for the summer? You should really come by the foundry. I will give a tour.

PM me if you want to see 2 metric tons of molten iron flowing like water.

Good luck Mark, Im pretty sure you can give it a Try. Many people have extra guns that you can use for a skirmish and see how you like it!

Francois, I have a Classic Army HK33E, Cost me a nice $300
It shoots around 320 fps maybe.

Shaun,
Look at this website. http://www.indianaaa.proboards59.com/index.cgi
Your more than welcome sign up and ask some questions
Right now im not really on a Team, I prefer not to be on a team to be honest, to much hassel. Plus, nobody wants to go buy flecktarn gear , I got most of the Flecktarn stuff in Germany when I was there last week.

The only Job I have right now is mowing lawns, and I barely do that :-)

how good do these things shoot? do they use co2 or nitro like pball guns?
300 is nothing. get equiped for paintballing, you get a prety lousy gun with no upgrades for the price :-) lucky my cousin was well equiped and donated his first gun to me.

how much are bullets? do you end up shooting a lot? i pay 120 for 2000 rounds of paint, iam hopeing the bb's are cheaper?

btw,you gonna get a handgund?

Francois,

For about 2000 rounds, It may run $10 a Bag, you can upgrade a gun with different types of spring,

Mines 320, some People I play with shoot 350,400. Im going to buy a CO2 powered Uzi which shoots 450 Stock, and im going to put a new barrel which probably will make it shoot 500 :-), Itll be more of a fun, shot stuff, kinda of a gun rather than a Skirmish gun.

The way the gun works it like this,
a Huge battery powers a small motor, which turns gears, which push a piston back and one of the gears have only half of the teeth, when the wears reach a certain point, the spring will slam the piston, shooting air thorugh a noozle, thus shooting the BB out.

Then there is a Hop up, but thats a different story.

People say airsoft is stupid and waste of money, I think its just for the people who grow up playing army men :-)

So far Ive probably spent a easy $500 for my BDU, webbing, gun, ammo.

What do you mean by me getting a Handguard. Do you mean a RIS?

Airsoft is a very cheap sport compared to paintball, But yet its still expensive,

Right now, im probably shooting 5bbs a second, But when I put a 9.6V battery in it, Itll probably do 10bbs a second.

But Ill keep with a 8.4, the lower ROF, the more realistic, Airsoft is all about milsim

Yeah, I do plan on getting a pistol, But I dont really know what the main German service pistol it.

One of the guys I play with is going to go out and order a whole fleck uniform, and spend over $2000 for a MG3!! Finally, I always wanted a support gunner.

I don't think Dunhams is the place to go to get a AEG (Auto Electric Gun.) The ones I was looking at a full metal and cost nearly $500 for an MP5. The ones at Dunhams look like cheap plastic toys.

What? $500 for a MP5 Full Metal?

http://www.evike.com/

This is the best site for airsoft guns, If you buy one, Id suggest going here and getting on from there

Plastic Guns would probabably be a TM

for Full metal go Classic Army or ICS

Heres a lil taste of what I went through, The firefight lasted about an hour, and over all the game went on for about 7 hours,

I was the 2nd to last guy out.

There were 4 sam sites, The russians had to take them out, which they did, But the rebels could take them back.

we all had a good time, the only problem was, was the heat. I was just sweating buckets just laying in grass waiting for the Russians...

But then we had a night game with BB tracers (Glow in the dark BB's)

There were around 50 people with it, and youd see BBs fly everywhere...It was once in a life time experience.

I was just wondering, do you have to have the orange on at all times? I know some of the guns that my friends and I have, you can remove the orange, and still play without getting in trouble. Unless the CQB place just doesnt care...

Yes, I did take off the Bright orange, I know its illegal But I Just keep it out of sight from the public. The Cops I play with even have their guns with no Orange tips on it.

The green stripe usually denotes branch of service, IIRC green stands for gebirgsjaegers (mountain troops)

The main German service pistol is the H&K P8

Not fully right...green means "Infantry", without seeing the barett-colour, it could at least be "Jäger" (Light Infantry) or "Panzergrenadier"( I don't think, i need to explain this one). Both Jäger and Grenadier wear green Baretts, both with different badges. Gebirgsjäger wear also green Stripes. but the Uniform is quite different.

I wore red-red, red ribbon and red barett.

Nice Load-Out, Max, although not all of it is standart issue in the bundeswehr. At least not in all units. I still had the olive backpack and such things. BTW, your webbing seems to need some adjustment;)
