I wrote that Lastnight after a LONG 5a-9p (ith a total of 1 hour off in the middle) worth of work yesterday.... Sometimes working 2 jobs Sucks.........

It might very well work.... but I wouldn't chance a reaction with the Paint......
the stuff I've been using is "Neutral" works great with Acrylics or Enamels.

I always found with my Badger 150 that if I cleaned it thoroughly it was always smooth, even though it was 20 years old. If your airbrush is sticking, maybe there's some dirt or paint in the mechanism. Try dismantling everything you can carefully, and thoroughly clean everything, only then may it be worth lubricating.

Ditto - I've always kept my airbrushes clean too and never had a sticking problem. But thanks a bunch Matt - I didn't even know there was a such thing as lube for the airbrush. It's great to have a Tools & Supplies Forum...

I've been using the badger lube for years, and yes I do a complete cleaning after each use.

Badger also makes a lube for airbrushes. It's called Regdab - Needle Juice. Regdab....Those crazy Badger people.

just to share my experience with you guys. I left my badger 150 alone for 5 years. I found the mechanism sticky too, and didn't know what to do then. all I did was to actually squirt some lacquer thinner into the insides and work the mechanism. It unstuck itself pretty soon. I hope it wasn't the wrong thing to do, but so far the airbrush is working like new again, so no complaints.
