Hi,
I read somewhere that you can use car body filler to fill seams and such on models. Does anyone know if there are any procedures for its use on injection moulded models ? It came with a small sachet of hardener, is it necessary to use this or can I get away with not using it?
Thanks
Dave

You need to use the hardener, other wise it will remain a gooey mess.

Use autobody glazing putty. It comes ready to use right out of the tube. The putty is similar to squadron green putty.

Where would I get that? All I could find was the 2-part stuff I bought.

Thanks for all the info chaps - I ended up ordering a couple of tubes of Squadron White putty from ebay, that seems to be what most people use

Be careful with car body filler. Some types of cbf can generate a lot of heat, when hardening. Might warp your model.

The stuff comes in at least three colors that I know of, red white and blue. I get my putty from NAPA auto parts.
