how you can get a higher rank i know, but the medals , ribbons(not sure if its right) etc.

well ribbons are participation in certain events and campaigns, like the new one for the winter dio campaign or the ribbon for moderator in the forums. and our current medal is for user of the month, you get that by being helpful to other and an all around good sport. good hunting stug
