Yes, boys and girls, there's a new one out, so beware.
I just returned from the LHS, and bought a new fine head and needle for one of my Badgers'. And Yes, they now contain a Warning Label.

"Warning: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and other birth defects or other reproductive harm."

Could someone from California please explain the testing my fine head and needle went through to reach this conclusion? Could someone please explain to me, how it is going to harm my reproductive organs? Has the entire west coast gone off their collective rockers in some sort of mass phobia about cancer, birth defects, and harm to their reproductive organs? Perhaps they need to place warning labels on the pencils they use to write these nitwit, waste of time and tax payers money horse-crappy-pooh laws.

"Warning- sharpening this pencil and using it to write another nitwit law will prove to those that voted for you last time, not to vote for you next time, as you have no common sense, and like to waste peoples tax dollars on horse crap laws!"

OK, I'm done venting, and I'm off to use my new head and needle, and to see what happens to my reproductive oragns.... oh I'm safe, I live in New Jersey.

Damage report to follow... :-) :-)

Good Lord Dave, if any state should place warnings on , " waking up in the morning " it should be us.
Let's see McCarter highway, cancer ally ,Weehawkin and Moonachie [ ? sp ], the Meadowlands [ mildewlands ], wearing a medical glove to slip a go - go dancer a doller into her g - string sssshhhheeesssshhh, oh and now that I've moved to South Joisey, how about Toms River and drinking Ciba Geigy water, netting glowing fish, and speaking of fishing, how about those Passiac River keepers, old fridges, tires, ovens, toilets, bodies, Jimmy Hoffa, D. B. Cooper.........
Yes I'm moving, retireing and going anywhere but Joisey, oh did I also mention that with insurance, property taxes, state taxes, breathing taxes, nobody can afford to live here unless they are Donald Trump aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh get me a Tylenol.

True - it's part of the justification for a Trillion-Dollar Budget...

To answere your question Dave, I'd first have to know exactly how close you're holding your airbrush to your reproductive organs?

No, I'm not a doctor......
but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :-)

Dave, My first thought was of illuminous paint, when my daughter briefly visited Joisey she read a report of a midnight streaker with glowing reproductive organs. Now being a ex cop my suspicions are aroused(only my suspicions were arousedI might add) now where were you on the night in question.

I Heard one on T.V. before I set off for work this morning. Sleeping with the light on can cause breast cancer in women. What ever next?

They fed rats 175 ground up heads and needles over a ten year period and all of the rats assumed room temperature. Welcome to California.

You think thats bad try checking on the warning on a box of ammo.
They’ve dropped the California part but added some other stuff to it.

This is the exact warning off a box of .308win shells.

Discharging firearms in poorly ventilated areas, cleaning firearms, or handling ammunition may result in exposure to lead, a substance known to cause birth defects, reproductive harm, cancer and other serious physical injury. Have adequate ventilation at all times. Wash hands thoroughly after exposure.

Yep this is some dangerous stuff. So remember if your going to fire your rifle in a small closed off room (even outside of California) make sure you at least open a window first.

I would hate to live in California and have to always worry about this stuff. :-)
