I'm not sure what changed but my, and others, banners have been replaced with a sign which I believe says "Direct Linking Not Allowed..."

What does this mean and how do I fix it?
I've tried a few things in my settings but nothing worked.

Thanks,

Keith

I believe that a change was announced a few months back that you will no longer be able to host a banner from your own gallery. You will need to find your own hosting site to load your banners.

The fix is to become an A-Guard member of either level. I believe A-Guard can still host banners in their own gallery.

Hmm, my banner has been hosted at:

http://images1.fotopic.net/?iid=yepbvd&outx=600&noresize=1&nostamp=1

for at least 1 year now.

I checked my account settings. I copied the above URL and when plugged into a browser the correct image shows up.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, I changed my image link to:

http://fire.prohosting.com/woltersk/banner3.jpg

and now I get the dreaded Red X until I hit the browser back button and then forward button. After that the banner image is there. See below.

Is it me? Or my image? Or my image's host?

Not that all this is that important, just one of those minor things that bugs me.

Thanks again,

Keith
